Download the 5 Calls App on your phone. This app will lead you through the call by giving you options for subjects and the data behind what is currently happening. Every day, if you can, call your legislators about a different subject. It takes less than 10 minutes to express your opinions to all of your state legislators. Make sure to leave your name and address so they record the interaction. The more we call, the more they have to "hear" us.
All people in the United States, regardless of immigration status, have certain rights and protections under the U.S. Constitution. Red cards give examples of how people can exercise these rights. While they do not provide individualized legal advice, they keep the basic rules close at hand. Distribute them at libraries, places of worship, free clinics, and other sites where people who need them gather. Immigrant Legal Resource Center offers ones you can print yourself (in any language) or you can purchase these cards. https://www.ilrc.org/redcards
